Shakespeare was shake-stoned

William Shakespeare

“The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, allows South African research scientists from the Transvaal Museum in Pretoria to analyze twenty-four pipe fragments found on the grounds of William Shakespeare’s home. The findings, published in the South African Journal of Science, show that eight of the pipes tested contain traces of cannabis and two of the pipes contain traces of cocaine. Others appear to be laced with tobacco, camphor, and hallucinogenic nutmeg extracts high in myristic acid.”

the evidence that Shakespeare ACTUALLY WROTE any-thing more than the merest smidgin of the massive works attributed to him is slim indeed!

the facts seem to point irrestibly to Christopher Marlowe as the REAL ‘Shakespeare’….interestingly: Marlowe, besides being a multi-lingual classics scholar and well-respected poet and author was ALSO a socio-political & religious rebel: not to put ‘too fine a point’ on it: he was an avowed atheist! @ a time when such ‘beliefs’ were a veritable DEATH SENTENCE…..perhaps such qualities ‘go together’?

(Shakespeare, OTOH, was sumthin’ of ‘a country bumpkin’ with only a low Grammar-school education: from memory: his daughters were all illiterate. Apparently, he had to pen such mighty works as King Henry in a rustic inn by candle-light after a hard day’s ‘yakka’ lugging sacks of grain around….hmmm…..’suspending yr dis-belief’ becomes a bit bother-some in the face of such BIG ASKs!)

the major Shakespearean works with an Italianite ‘exile’ flavour (‘Romeo & Juliet’, ‘Merchant of Venice’, ‘Two Gentlemen of Verona’, ‘Julius Caesar’ &c) may indicate that Marlowe actually penned these plays while scurrying around the penisula ‘on the lam’ from his Puritan persecutors!

y do these facts rarely see ‘the light of day’?

perhaps: because: certain parties fear that ‘the proles’
might start asking un-comfortable questions abt ANOTHER SET OF historical ‘facts’: like certain ‘well-known events’ occurring 60-65yrs ago in a different part of Europe?!?
