The media lie about stupid stuff, too

Sure, we all know that the media are not covering the Christian/Newsome double rape/torture/murder, but I want to give an example of how they also mislead us on the smaller things when it suits the agenda, or rather when reality does not fit their agenda. How do you if something happened in Belarus, or China, or . . . Atlanta? You know it through the media. If what you know is full of lies and mis-truths, you may as well be hallucinating, because you are fundamentally mis-perceiving reality.

The title of the article is: “Free day causes chaos at Six Flags.” The article notes that it was an event sponsored by “The Bert Show,” a program on a “White” radio station. Here is the cast of “The Bert Show” along with the other DJs listed on the station’s website:

Reality check: It looked, sounded, and smelled like a rap video, and the lines were longer than those on chicken day back in high-school:

The people involved in staging a free-admission promotion at the Six Flags Over Georgia amusement park say they never saw Thursday morning’s trouble coming. The promotion bottled up morning rush hour traffic on Atlanta’s west side and frustrated youngsters turned away shortly after 6 a.m. because the park had reached capacity. So much for a fun day during spring break from school and the free admission to the amusement park, which was supposed to run from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The traffic tie-ups had children walking along I-20 to escape stopped cars and get to the park before the gates closed.

“We were expecting a large crowd but not as the gate opened,” spokeswoman Christy Poore said. “We had 300 cars lined up at 2 a.m.”

As a precaution, officials opened the park in sections between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., Poore said.

The first section — an area stretching from the Georgia Scorcher to the Shake, Rattle & Roll indoor ride — reached capacity within 15 minutes of opening. By then, there were about 15,000 people inside the park, Poore said, declining to discuss the park’s capacity.

Bert Weiss, the morning jock on Q-100, which sponsored the promotion, said Six Flags officials projected the crowd would build throughout the morning.

“It was just impossible to predict that many people would show up that early,” he said.

Cobb police say they were caught off guard by the traffic that eventually brought traffic on I-20 during the morning commute. Authorities asked motorists to stay off I-20 until at least 10 a.m.

Traffic has since returned to normal.

“It wasn’t planned for us to be out there,” said Cassie Reece, a Cobb police spokeswoman. “We were out there because we were called.”

For morning commuters I-20, driving in either direction was no thrill ride.

At its worst, travel time on eastbound I-20 from Lee Road to I-285 was about 25 minutes. It normally is under 10. Cobb County police closed the main exit for the park — Exit 43 off I-20 — about 6:15 a.m. The exits have since reopened.

Jaleesa Prather and Tradasher Wimbley, both 18, arrived about midnight. They slept on the ground at a nearby parking lot until about 3 a.m, then moved toward the park’s main gate.

About 3:30 a.m., hundreds of youths rushed the fence barriers and the front gate when they thought the park was about to open. Fights erupted over tickets being passed out by park staff, they said.

Poland taking a different stance on Russia/EU

TODAY’S ZAMAN

Poland has softened its opposition to talks between the European Union and Russia on a new cooperation agreement, but it remains unclear if Warsaw will lift its veto soon, diplomats said on Wednesday.

A Polish diplomat said the country’s envoy to the EU told his counterparts this week that Warsaw was keen to end the stand-off between the bloc and Russia. But diplomats from other countries cautioned that they had heard such comments before. Poland vetoed the launch of negotiations for a new EU-Russia strategic partnership last year in protest at a Russian import ban on Polish meat. So far, it has demanded a Russian commitment to end the 16-month-old ban before talks can start. “Our goal is not to block the negotiations, we would like to reach an agreement,” the Polish diplomat told Reuters. The diplomat said Poland would agree to let talks start if the EU attached a suitable statement to the negotiating mandate. Current EU president Germany is making diplomatic efforts to break the deadlock in time for an EU-Russia summit on May 18. EU foreign ministers are expected to discuss the mandate at their April 23 meeting in Luxembourg.

“The Jew yelps as he kicks you.”

There’s a reason us English-speakers have to use Hebrew to express the concept of “chutzpa.”  The definition of “chutzpa” is popularly explained using the example of a kid who kills his parents, then requests leniency from the court on the grounds he is an orphan.  In the below news item, Jews are engaged in their merry task of “murdering America.”  When caught, they scream “poisecution.”  Dorothy Rabinowitz, the author of this column and fellow in-group conspirator references bland missive by Pastor Martin Niemöller, entitling the article “First, They Came for the Jews.”

TAKE NOTE:  In the first paragraph, she-tapir Dorothy Rabinowitz complains about the limitations on courtroom press coverage.  Were she being honest, she would admit that she is glad there is so little coverage of this AIPAC scandal, lest the organism get wise to what the parasite was doing and do something about it, as nearly every other society that had a case of Jew.  Thought experiment: Imagine that the press is covering this scandal as it should be covered (instead of, say, the post-postmortem train-wreck of an overweight former model).  Can you imagine her being relieved, or would she be wailing about the poisecution, and accusing this Jew-yoked Amerikwa of being a “Nazi” state as she is here for noticing that AIPAC Yids were spying on us in the first place?

The government has also moved (in the interest of protecting classified information) to impose strict limits during the trial, on the testimony the public and press will be allowed to hear. If the proposal is allowed, significant portions of the testimony will be available only in the form of summaries. Witnesses, furthermore, would not be allowed to deliver certain testimony directly to jurors, who would instead be told to look at secret documents. It will be, as a member of the Reporters Committee For Freedom of the Press, now opposing the government efforts, describes it, “a secret trial within a public trial.” (Dow Jones, publisher of this newspaper, has joined the Reporters Committee in filing an objection.)

. . .

The consequences of this spectacle–the indictment of two citizens for activities that go on every day in Washington, and that are clearly protected under the First Amendment–far exceed any other in the now long list of non-crimes from which government attorneys have constructed major cases, or more precisely, show trials. A category in which we can include the mad prosecutorial pursuit of Mr. Libby.

The government could succeed in this prosecution of two non-government professionals doing what they had every reason to view as their jobs–talking to government officials and reporters, and transmitting information and opinions. If such activities can be charged, successfully, as a “conspiracy,” every professional, every business, every quarter of society–not to mention members of the press–will have reason to understand that this is a bell that tolls not just for two AIPAC lobbyists, but also for countless others to face trials in the future, for newly invented crimes unearthed by willing prosecutors.

County official forced to resign for criticizing israel (VIMP) | Wake Up From Your Slumber

A Cherokee County official has resigned from her position after criticism over comments she made on her Web site about Israel.

Mary Catarineau, who is on the Cherokee County Planning Commission, wrote about dismantling Israel as a way to achieve peace in the Middle East in March 22 entry on her Web site, “My Diary With God.”

And in a March 24 entry, Catarineau wrote that Israel “was artificially created to provide a place for Jews to avoid persecution after the Holocaust. The Holocaust is not going to recur, and Israel has caused nothing but problems. Jews can remain or leave, but give the land back to the Muslims.”

heise online – Department of Homeland and Security wants master key for DNS

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which was created after the attacks on September 11, 2001 as a kind of overriding department, wants to have the key to sign the DNS root zone solidly in the hands of the US government. This ultimate master key would then allow authorities to track DNS Security Extensions (DNSSec) all the way back to the servers that represent the name system’s root zone on the Internet. The “key-signing key” signs the zone key, which is held by VeriSign.
